Location: Christian High School, 1145 Tom Ginnever Ave in OFallon, MO 63366
You and your church members are invited!
Christian High School (1145 Tom Ginnever Ave in OFallon, MO) has the opportunity to host a nationally recognized program called “Fight The New Drug” (FTND) that has presented to over 400 schools across the nation. FTND’s main focus is pornography addiction, which can lead to depression, isolation, and academic struggles. According to the Attorney General’s Commission on Pornography, “teenagers are the largest consumers of internet pornography.” The research shows that 93% of boys and 62% of girls view porn before the age of 18. We believe that it is critical to help educate our students about the harmful effects of pornography. First Light Ministries, a local ministry specializing in teaching about sexuality as God intended it, is sponsoring FTND’s presentation at our school. With a simple message and a desire to raise awareness, Fight the New Drug uses science, data, and personal accounts to help spread the message about the harmful effects of pornography.
A chapel service will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 1:30pm in the CHS gym for 8-12th grade students. Please see attached graphic for the student chapel. Parents, pastors, and teachers are also welcome at the chapel service.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call Mr. Turner, our campus pastor, at 636-978-1680 Ex.1101. Please join us in praying for this presentation.
